Volunteers

Without volunteers, none of our harm reduction work can be carried out.

Our volunteers learn techniques for giving unbiased information they need to teach partygoers how to make informed decisions about drug use and sexual, and other general health and safety practices.

From there, our new volunteers work booths with more experienced Stay Safe Seattle members, putting their education to use in the community. Volunteers also do other important work in the organization, such as public relations, ordering supplies, and preparing the necessary materials for our booths.

If you would like to volunteer, please download and fill out a copy the new volunteer application and bylaws and bring them to the next Stay Safe Seattle meeting (Every Saturday at 6pm located at the CHAC). Also, please review our media policy and quick safety reference pages. You can also sign up onto our yahoo group email discussion list. We can always use more volunteers to spread our message and make the community safer.

And...
Stay Safe Seattle
