Promoters

Why does having Stay Safe Seattle at an event benefit you?
The volunteers of Stay Safe Seattle are committed to working with local promoters in our common goal of reducing drug abuse and misuse in the rave community and promoting a positive and responsible image of raves.

We are a professional group of volunteers who are committed to:
     -
working each party sober and informed
     -
wearing Stay Safe Seattle identification at all times while working at events
     -
encouraging our volunteers to get CPR and First Aid training
     -
staffing booths with at least two people per shift in order to provide adequate coverage and assistance
     -
serving as a resource for health and safety information at events including drug and safe sex resources
     -
cooperating fully with your staff and the authorities in handling any emergencies that may occur
     -
actively discouraging drug abuse and promoting the positive aspects of the scene

We strongly believe that harm reduction is a realistic and practical response to drug use. It is an approach to that being effectively implemented all across Europe and we feel it is time to bring its benefits to the American dance community as well if we are going to ensure the continuation and growth of the rave industry.

If you would like us to work any of your upcoming events, please contact us by phone or email us for more information. You can also use our online booth request form. We are flexible in the services we provide, so we are willing to discuss different types of outreach if boothing does not suit your needs.

We are part of a non-profit organization that provides these services for free, so donations are appreciated.
